

She was born on October 30, 1946, in Aurora, Nebraska, a daughter of Donald E. and Trese (Stuart) Zehr. Teddy married Riggs "Rick" M. Corbin on June 21, 1969, in North Pekin. He survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Alison (David) Jackson of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Abigail Jackson of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and Nathan Jackson of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Grady (Lucy) Zehr of Winfield, Illinois, John (Linda) Zehr and James (Kelli) Zehr, both of Knoxville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Teddy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Zehr, formerly of Manchester, Iowa.
She was a graduate of Pekin Community High School, Class of 1965.
Teddy worked in the banking world in central Illinois for over 30 years, beginning at Security Savings in Peoria, moving on to Heritage Bank as a loan clerk for the majority of her time, and culminating at the Bank of Farmington, retiring in 2019.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, where she sang in the choir and taught Pioneer Girls and Sunday School for many years. She loved working with her hands during her retirement, whether knitting and crocheting for friends and family or creating beauty in her garden.
A celebration of life service for Teddy will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 19th, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Rev. Gary Roseboom and Rev. John Hopwood will officiate. Visitation will be held on the same day from 9:00 am until service time. The burial will take place in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home in Pekin.
