

He was born December 3, 1952 in Peoria to Carroll Lee and Helen Marie Goble Cook, Sr. His parents and one sister, Judith Green preceded him in death.
Surviving are four brothers, Carroll L. Cook, Jr. and Joseph Cook, both of Spring Bay, Gerald W. (JoAnn) Cook and Robert L. Cook, both of Pekin; five sisters, Ora "Cookie" (Guy) Fisher of Anchorage, Alaska, Beverly J. (Lawrence) Huff and Debbie Goodin, both of Manito, Sharon (Rick) Drake of Pekin and Rebecca (Richard) Dringenberg of Wheatland, Missouri. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Tommy was a self-employed painter in the Peoria area for several years. He served in the United States Army.
He had a soft heart for children and animals and was active in the Crusaders for Kids organization. He also enjoyed fishing and car racing. Tommy was a family oriented man who will be sadly missed by many friends and family.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007at 10 a.m. at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
