Born October 29, 1970 in Pekin to Irwin Eugene and Nancy Jean (Davis) Ferguson, he married Donna Beaver.
Surviving are his parents of South Pekin; one son, Thomas S. Ferguson, Jr. of Manito; two brothers, David A. Ferguson and Michael W. Ferguson, both of Pekin; and maternal grandparents, Sarah M. Davis of Pekin and Irvin L. Davis, Jr. of Keokuk, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by one infant brother, Irwin E. Ferguson, Jr., and paternal grandparents, Carl W. and Ethel L. Ferguson.
Tom worked for the Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria for 10 years, last working in August of 2004 as a dealer. Previously, he worked as a dietary aide at Beechwood Health Care Center in Pekin.
Tom enjoyed watching television and playing video games.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May9, 2006at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Thomas Cone will officiate. Private burial will be in Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
