He was born May 5, 1944 in Chicago to William and Wilma Lawson.
His parents and one half brother, Billy Lawson preceded him in death.Surviving are his cousins, Shelly Patterson, Richard McAninch, Ariese Patterson, Jami Ruebel, and Kenneth Cornwell, all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and James and Nancy Patterson of Chandlerville.Thomas worked at VIP Industries and attended Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
