Trudy R Hoerr

Born September 6, 1952 in Beardstown to Harold and Lois (Cook) Hull, she married Steven Hoerr on November 20, 1971 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Daron (Leslie) Hoerr of Pekin and Shawn (Jenni) Hoerr of Glasford; three grandchildren, Lander Hoerr, Katie Davis and Drew Davis; two sisters, Melba Hardcastle of Manito and Judy (Randy) Yancey of Pekin and two brothers, Mike Hull of Pekin and Paul (Cassie) Hull of Manito. She also leaves her brother/sisters-in-law, Ron and Connie Hoerr of Battle Creek, Michigan and Sara Hoerr of Pekin and numerous nieces & nephews, whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Devon D. Hoerr and her niece, Lisa.

A homemaker, Trudy loved her grandchildren and time spent with family. She enjoyed photography, traveling, fishing and music. She also was fond of nature.

She was a member of Pekin First Church of the Nazarene.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Pekin First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
