

Born May 30, 1946 in Seattle, Washington to Willie Joe and Johnnie Mildred (Likens) Whittle, she married Raymond John Seneca in August, 2004 in Las Vegas. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Johnnie M. Mathis of Pekin; one daughter, Tammy L. Carlton of Pekin; one son, Chris A. (Jerrie) Carlton; three step-sons, Phillip (Christine) Seneca of Southern Illinois, Michael (Stephanie) Seneca and Anthony Seneca, both of Peoria; one step-daughter, Katie Seneca of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Nick Carlton, Zachary Carlton, both of Manito, Destiny Carlton, Justin Cockrell, Wesley Cockrell, Dillon Cockrell and Anthony Metcalf, all of Pekin; one sister, Judy Waggoner of Pekin and two half-sisters, Tina Oberle of Green Valley and Brenda Colgan of Bradford.
She owned and operated Lucky Lady Nails by Jolene, located at the Depot in Pekin.
Jolene had been a member of the McArthur Drive Baptist Church in North Pekin. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Pastor Bobby Barnhill will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
