Born August 24, 1941 in Pekin to Roy R. and Hattie A. (Beal) Martin, she married Charles E. Davidson on December 23, 1968 in Pekin. He died February 20, 1974. She was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Raymond Martin, Beverly (Sis) Carrington, and Allen Martin, and one grandson, Harley Davidson.
Surviving are her children, Charles W. (Deania) Davidson of Green Valley, Rhonda J. (Charles) Williams of Pekin, Timothy L. Davidson of Pekin; eight grandchildren, Chucky, Mandi, Britany, Brandi (Jared), Jamie, Tony (Kristen), Erica (Aaron), Branson; seventeen great-grandchildren, Natalynn, Keegan, Cole, Kaydence, Charlie, Bianca, Emily, Erin, Matthew, Ben, Lila, Henry, Lucas, Myah, Amelia, Bentley and Hudson.
She loved spending time with her family, going to rummage sales, playing cards and dancing. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and was always willing to open her house to everyone with no place to go.
Virginia worked for Pekin Memorial Hospital for 38 years. She started as an Nurses Aid and retired on September 1, 2006 in Laundry.
Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services or visitation are planned.
