

Born December 31, 1952 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to James R. and Geraldine M. (Pribble) Vickers, she married Gary Lee Daniels on December 12, 1986 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Geri Pribble of Pekin; one son, Robert Sronce of Fort Myers, Florida; one daughter, Theresa (Greg) Szczepaniak; six grandchildren, Jacob Szczepaniak, Elijah Daniels, Carley Cline, Kendal Cline, Malakie Szczepaniak, and Jedrick Szczepanaik; four brothers, Steven (Leigh) Vickers of Elkmont, Alabama, David Vickers, Bob Pribble, and Kevin (Jessie) Pribble, all of Pekin; and two sisters, Cindy (Rodney) Giddeons of Hammond, Indiana and Marsha (Bob) Fritz of Janesville, Wisconsin
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Roger Vickers.
Wanda served in the United States Air Force from September 29, 1981 until retiring on August 30, 2002. She attained the rank of Master Sergeant.
She owned and operated Heavenly Delights in Pekin from 1996 to 2009. She later cooked at the Farmer’s Market in rural Pekin.
Wanda enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles with her mom, and bird watching. She was known for her great cooking.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Gary Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin where military rites will be accorded by the United States Air Force.
