

Born Jan. 20, 1922 in Hollis Township, Peoria County to Marshall and Susie (Scott) Bouchez, he married Norma C. Bledsoe in Pekin. She died Mar. 5, 2015 in Pekin. He also was preceded in death by his parents; two stepsons; two stepdaughters and two brothers.
Surviving are three sons, Warren “Jr.” (Patricia) Bouchez of Bartonville, Bill (Krystal) Bouchez of Oquawka and Kenny Bouchez of Mapleton; one daughter, Marjorie (Rusty) Banks of Little America; one stepdaughter, Connie Mata of Peoria and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Norma Schultz Hampton of Pekin.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Warren worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 30 years, retiring from the galvanizing department at age 62.
He was a life member of Bartonville American Legion Post 979 and a member of Pekin Moose Family Center 916. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed the outdoors and rides in the country spotting deer. He also enjoyed gardening.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Bishop Burl Cole will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton, with military rites accorded by the United States Navy and Glasford American Legion Post 35.
