William B Cox

Born June 7, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Toby Francis and Grace Ruby (Parker) Cox, he married Anice Nell Durham on December 26, 1969 in Bernie, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Cynthia Jo Cox of Peoria, Roberta Kaye Clark of Dexter, Missouri, Teresa Ann (Chad) Page of Newton, Iowa, and Cathy Lynn Pinsanor of Perryville, Missouri; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five brothers, John (Elizabeth) Cox of St. Charles, Jim Cox of Ottumwa, Iowa, Toby Cox, Jr. of Centerville, Iowa, Jerry Cox of Bloomington, Iowa, and Richard Cox, of Oscaloosa, Iowa; and two sisters, Francis Snow of Kingman, Arizona and Fannie (Alfred) Lind of Ottumwa, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, oneson (William Eric Cox on December 13, 2001), and one sister.

Bill had been a truck driver since 1976, last working for Frate Service in Spring Bay. Previously, he had worked for Schmidgall Transfer in Morton for 13 years.

His funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before thefuneral. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
