Alan Donsell Holland

Alan Holland, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama. A celebration of his life will be held at Southern Heritage in Pelham, Alabama on May 25, 2023, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive guests in the chapel one hour prior to the service.

Alan was born September 21, 1964, in Birmingham, Alabama to Don and Margaret Holland. He was a 1983 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School. He was also a 1987 graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Following college, Alan worked at AmSouth Bank. He then developed a strong interest in theology and attended Southeastern Bible College. He was an avid fan of Alabama football as well as all sporting and dancing events involving his nephews and niece.

Preceding him in death was his father, Don Holland. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Holland; brother, Jon (Kim) Holland; two nephews, Brandon and Blake Holland; and one niece, Mallory Holland, all of Huntsville, Alabama; uncles, Dessel Aderholt, Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Douglas (Lyn) Holland, Pelham, Alabama and numerous cousins.
