Barbara Lee Quarles O’Brien, 90, of Birmingham, joined Jesus in Heaven on August 24, 2024 after a brief illness. She was able to share the last part of her life being with her family, which she cherished with all her heart.
She was born in Selma, AL on July 7, 1934. While in Selma, she met her husband. They eventually moved to Birmingham and had one son.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John O’Brien, Jr.. She is survived by her son Tim O’Brien, Daughter-In-Law Shelley, and three grandchildren that made her eyes sparkle, Braxton, Austin & Anna.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 4:00pm.
