A Gadsden, AL native, "Bob" graduated from Birmingham Southern College before working for State Farm Insurance Company for 37 years. He was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Homewood, where he served as an usher for many years.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Nellie Williamson, and one brother, Billy Fred Williamson. Survivors include Bob's wife, Mamie Beatrice Williamson; two daughters, Vickie Henze (Glenn) and Holly Williamson; one son, Terry Williamson (Kim); and three grandchildren, Katie Williamson, Bobby Williamson, and Jacob Henze.
