He is survived by his wife Michelle, daughters Elizabeth and Samantha, his mother Patricia Ripperdan, sister Christie Johnson Graves, and nieces and nephews Trevor Johnson, Rebecca Estep, Peyton Estep and Anderson Estep.
He is preceded in death by his father Cecil Ripperdan. He loved the outdoors, NASCAR, and Alabama football. He was devoted to his family and he will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday October 17, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Southern Heritage. The family would like to thank the staff at UAB especially the Infusion Clinic, the MICU and the Palliative Care Unit.
