On Saturday October 6, 2018, Brent "Skuggy" Denman, son, grandson and friend passed away at age 31. Brent was a graduate of Pelham High School. He attended Auburn University, the University of Alabama, as well as studying in Kiev, Ukraine. Larger than life and fun loving, Brent traveled extensively and made friends all over the world. He loved adventure; sky diving and skiing in New Zealand, scuba diving in Thailand, trekking through jungles in Nicaragua. But his greatest passion was the health of our ocean marine life. He is survived by his father Rodney Denman, mother Kathy Moore Denman, grandmother Terry Denman, half-sister Chasidy Capps, step-brother Chris Hare, step-sister Brittany Hare Alred and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Southern Heritage. Visitation for family and friends will occur before the service starting at noon. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
