Carol Maddox Boone

Carol Ann Maddox Boone of Pelham, Alabama went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Born on May 15, 1936, she lived a long and meaningful life filled with faith, love and devotion to her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Carol is survived by her two loving daughters, Dana Williams (husband Chris Williams) and Georgia Hamner (husband Dana Hamner). Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Lacy Sheehan (husband Jody Sheehan), Michael McKay (wife Marybeth McKay), Alexis Godfrey (husband Jared Godfrey), Miranda Nunnley, Danielle Davis, and Corey Riley and (wife Rachel Riley). She was blessed with 17 beautiful great-grandchildren in total.

Carol had a successful career in banking, where she worked as an installment loan officer, converting banks all over Alabama. In her downtime she enjoyed getting lost in a good book and keeping in touch with family.

Carol has left us with so many great stories and cherished memories. We will miss her dearly.

The family will greet friends Friday, May 30, 2025 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, Alabama from 1-2 p.m., followed by A Service of Thanks to God for Carol's Life at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. She will be laid to rest at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
