

Carol Lee completed her undergraduate education at the University of Montevallo, Alabama. She was employed as a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Kingwood Christian School, Alabaster for 20 years until her retirement.
Carol Lee loved her Lord and served him faithfully through her teaching positions and her membership at Evangel Church PCA. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, reading, Soduhu puzzles, watching "Jeopardy," and Alabama Crimson Tide football. An active foster care parent and adoptive parent with the Shelby County Foster Care Association, she loved children and loved taking care of them. She also loved her grandchildren and always bragged on them.
Carol Lee was united in holy matrimony with Bryan Williamson on June 6, 1992 in Alabaster. Their union was blessed with seven children.
Carol Lee was predeceased by her mother, Martha Egan Dorrance. Survivors include her husband Bryan; her father, Jay Dorrance; seven children, Hayden (Bruce) Ranke, Natalie (John) Bores, Raleigh (Jenny) Hill, Kelly Williamson, Bailey Williamson, Waverly Williamson, and Oliver Williamson; seven grandchildren, Hollis Ranke, Ezra Ranke, Oliver Hill, Peyton Bores, Presley Bores, Elias Hill, and Amelia Hill; and three siblings, Sandra Green, Linda Cave, and Drew Dorrance.
The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by A Service of Remembrance for Carol Lee at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home's chapel.
