Carolyn Bryan Schifano, age 75, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, passed away on September 19, 2017. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood, Alabama, and she retired as revenue examiner of the City of Mountain Brook, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Schifano Jr., and her parents, H.L. Bryan and Frances A. Bryan. Survivors include two sons, JoJo (Peggy) Schifano and Andy Schifano; grandchildren, Joe Schifano IV, Lane Schifano, and Anden Schifano; one sister, Kaye Mayeux; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood. Graveside service immediately following at Southern Heritage Cemetery on Highway 119 in Pelham.
