Connie was a graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and Auburn University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Connie was also a member of The Junior League of Birmingham and served on The Board of Director’s at The Foundry Ministries.
Connie was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and friend. Connie had a special God given gift for making everyone feel loved. Her caring, fun-loving personality, and big smile will be missed by all. Connie loved her friends (all best friends of course) and viewed them as family. Connie also loved Auburn, a love that she shared with her husband, Andy, and her father J.A. Dowdy. They are surely going to have some amazing tailgates and dance parties in Heaven just like the good ole days. The family wants to thank her many friends that have always been by her side.
Due to COVID there will be a private graveside memorial service for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Foundry Ministries 1804 6th Ave. N. Bessemer, AL 35020, Magic Moments 2112 11th Ave S. Suite 219 Birmingham, AL 35205.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.southernheritagefunerals.com for the Hartley family.
