Daryl Eugene O'Barr, age 67, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Pensacola, Florida, following a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Daryl was born on March 9, 1951 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Daryl will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, kindness, quick wit, and phenomenal musical and vocal talents, and especially for his love of the trumpet, piano, opera, the U.S. Marine Corps, and our country.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Briarwood Presbyterian Church’s Chapel in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 2 p.m.
