Diane Clem Cannon

CANNON, DIANE CLEM, 54, of Birmingham, Alabama was called home to Heaven on September 4, 2011. Diane was born in Irondale, Alabama on November 5, 1956 and graduated from Shades Valley High School where she was a Mountiette. After attending Jacksonville State University, Diane began a long career in the insurance business, most recently with CRC. She and her family spent many weekends, vacations, and holidays with friends in Grayton Beach, Florida, where they owned a second home. Diane is survived by her husband and best friend, Joey Cannon; their son, Jason Cannon (Lauren); one grandson, Luke Cannon; Diane's parents, Frank and Barbara Clem; three sisters, Donna Jones (Barry), Darlene Hinson (Don), and Denise Black (Bill); sister-in-law, Debra Cannon; nieces, Meredith, Leigh Ellen, and Anna Claire Black, and Rachel Jones; nephews, Colby Cannon, Mitchell Jones, John Michael and Matthew Hinson; and numerous close friends who will miss her greatly. The visitation will be at 10 a.m., followed by the 11 a.m. service on Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the chapel of Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Rev.
