Donna, a California native, was a graduate of El Cerrito High School. She found much enjoyment and fulfillment in her long-time career as a mother and homemaker.
Quilting and sewing were two of Donna's favorite pastimes. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Garrard "Gary" Hargrove, to whom she was married in Spring 1976; and one grandson, Joseph Paulin.
Survivors include Donna's daughter, Roseanna Borelli; son, Colin Hargrove (Laryn); grandchildren, Gionna Godsey (Blake) and Ridge Hargrove; great-grandchildren, Elijah Godsey, Teagan Godsey, and Baylor Godsey; and devoted companion, Bill Naramore.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Birmingham, from 9-10 a.m., followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the church, 5510 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL 35242. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
