Edgar H. Freeman Jr. 91 of Bham, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Annie Maudie Freeman, only daughter Gwen (Evan) Cork and two granddaughters, Daphne and Britney Cork. He was born in Selma, AL and grew up in Verbina, AL. He served in the Army in WWII. He was a Baptist minister and served in Newville, Wetumpka, Bham, Trafford, Randolph, West Blocton and Trussville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11th from 5-7pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The service will be held on Friday, May 12th starting at 11am in the chapel of the Funeral Home. Private burial will be a Forest Crest Cemetery.
