Ellen Louise Wallis was born December 22, 1931 in Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Wallis Watson and son in law, Destry Watson; grandchildren, Grant Watson, Jeb Watson, and Sadie Watson. Ellen was an active member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Helena, AL. A graveside service will be held at Southern Heritage Cemetery on Tuesday, September 7th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation; 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306 or Tunnel to Towers website t2t.org.
