Ethel F. Rushing

Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Armour L. Rushing, Sr. ; her parents, Wade Hampton Fagan and Addie Walker Fagan and siblings; Alice Dominy, Kate Womble, Wylie Hampton Fagan and Nina Frick.

Survivors include; son, Armour Lewis Rushing,Jr. (Sue); daughters, Sandra Gresham (David) and Annette Rushing Weed; grandchildren, Susan Leigh Hall (Kyle), Steven Lance Rushing (Eleanor), Stephanie Lynn Hardy (Brian), Shannon Layne Stinson (Thomas), Grantland Lewis Weed (Meagan),Courtland Anne Weed (Jason), Lesleigh Hope Gresham, Brooke Lorene Gresham and Blaire Ross Gresham; and great-grandchildren, Rushing Kyle Hall, Shelby Riden Hall, Jackson Christopher Hall,Linleigh Brooks Hardy, Baylor Lewis Hardy, Walker Kennedy Weed, Eleanor Leighton Rushing, Levi Kirby Weed, Olivia Layne Stinson, Eliza Lance Rushing and Lewis Rushing Stinson. Mrs. Rushing is also survived by her sister, Alma Frick, of Columbia, South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Chapel in Pelham, Alabama at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 2 p.m. service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Alabama.
