

Roberson Fredna Carol, of Meadowbrook, AL, passed away at her home on May 13, 2012, Mother's Day. She was born March 22, 1945 in Montgomery, AL to Fred Morgan Mott and Lydia Estelle Horton Mott. Fredna graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN and married Donald Lee Roberson in 1968. They lived in Huntsville, AL until 2006 before moving to Meadowbrook to live closer to their children and grandchildren. Fredna was a public and private school teacher for 25 years until retiring in 2003. She was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville where she taught preschool and led the children’s choir. After moving to Meadowbrook she attended the Church at Brook Hills and was a member of A.T. and Lois Scott’s Bible study class. Her favorite pastime was spending time playing, reading, singing, and praying with her children and grandchildren. Fredna was a caring, artistic, generous and faithful Wife, Mother, Nana, and Friend. In obedience to God’s Word, she was always thinking of and considering others in everything she said and did. She is survived by her husband, Don, two children, Brian Lee (Beth) Roberson and Janet Carol Roberson (David) Smith, four grandchildren, Josie Carol, Jillian Clara, Braden Lee and Grayson Morgan, and her brother, George Benjamin Mott. Visitation will be at 10:30am on May 16, 2012 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home prior to the funeral at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes, P.O.
