

Grover graduated from Weir High School and received an accounting degree from Memphis State University. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, his professional career included 30 years in the telephone industry with the Bell Telephone System.
Grover was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. His favorite pastimes included golf.
Grover was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Myrtle Morgan; one son, Robert Morgan; and two brothers, Howard Morgan and Johnny Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Christine "Chris" Morgan; children, Susan DeCarrera (Robert), Brent Morgan (Karen), and Stacy Morgan (Kevin Fotovich); daughter-in-law, Fran Morgan; grandchildren, Kimberly DeCarrera, Justin Morgan, Ashley Courtright, Andrew Morgan, Hannah England, and Bethany Lipscomb; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Martha Ryals, Patty Hatten, and Allene Dorsey.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama from 2-3 p.m., followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
