Jacqueline S. Sorrell, 85, of Hoover, AL, passed away Sunday evening, May 30, 2021. She was born to Arthur Davis and Paul Larell Benson Davis in Thorsby, AL on April 23, 1936.
"Jackie" graduated from Jemison High School before launching her professional career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. She ultimately retired from management at Blue Cross Blue Shield with over 30 years of service. In her leisure, she enjoyed creatively cooking for family and friends.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Carroll Sorrell, and her parents. Survivors include Jackie's sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Gary Hanrahan of Springville, AL.
The family will celebrate Jackie Sorrell's life with private services and burial at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, AL.
