DAVIS, DR. JAMES "BURT," 75, of the Green Acres community of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was a retired pastor and a member of Lake Highland Baptist Church. Survivors include Burt's wife, Margaret A. Davis; one daughter, Lisa A. Etheridge (Paul); sister, Elizabeth A. Davis; and three grandchildren, Robert Edward Etheridge, Rachel Ann Etheridge, and Reagan Elise Etheridge. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The funeral will be at 12 noon the same day in Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, with burial following in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
