June 26, 1970 - May 7, 2015 James Herbert Hild, Jr., age 44, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed from this earthly life on Thursday, May 7, 2015. He is free from suffering and is safe in God's loving arms. James was preceded in death by his dear mother, Anna Marlene. He is survived and will be so missed by his father, James H. Hild, Sr.; his sisters, Teresa Horn (Doug) and Cheryl Hild (Bobby Poff); his children, James "Jay" Hild (Kendra), Justin Hild, and Anna Beth Hild; grandchildren, Ava, Addison, and Aubrey Hild; and two nephews, Lee and Luke Poff. James was a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He loved his precious friend and companion, Tanner the Bijon Frise, Tennessee Volunteer football, the outdoors, and the culinary arts. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Graveside service will immediately follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
