Jim graduated from Gorgas High School. He enjoyed a long, professional career with Express Oil Change, including several years as a business owner in the Birmingham area. He was a member of the City Sales Club, and his favorite pastimes included supporting Alabama Crimson Tide Football and fishing.
Jim is survived by his two children, Marsha Robinson and J. Timothy Lunsford (Marietta); three grandchildren, Laura Ann Daniel Watson, Elizabeth Daniel, and Jonathon Lunceford (Laurel); one great-grandchild, Andrew Watson; and one brother, Floyd Lunceford.
Jim's family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood, Alabama from 1-2 p.m., immediately followed by a Service of Remembrance at 2 p.m. at the church. Private burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Alabama.
