James Trent Wright

James Trent Wright came into this world on March 7, 1980 at 8:06 A.M. and was called into the Lord’s arms on June 13, 2015. Trent is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lois Sanders and James and Jenny Wright. Trent graduated from Thompson High School where he loved playing football. He has two children, Austin Trent Wright and Elizabeth Katherine Wright. He is survived by his loving family and legal wife, Suzette Lewis Wright along with his parents, Susan and Terry O’Brien of Jemison and James and Kathy Wright of Montevallo; his brothers, Jeremy Chase Wright (Becky), Cody Tyler Wright (Katrina) stepbrother Terry J. O’Brien (Ashley); his sister Karli Wright Hewett (Ken) stepsister Kristina O’Brien-Casteel (Phillip). He also left behind several nieces and nephews who he loved to tease and be silly with. Nieces are Kaylee Wright, Abigail Wright, Sierra Wright, McKenna Wright, and Ireland Casteel; nephews are Cayden Wright , Mason Lacey, Hunter Kennemer, Dylan Sanders, Austin Sanders, Canaan Casteel and Dane Casteel.

Trent excelled at the job of being Cody’s big brother for many years and in the last year it was heartwarming to see how Trent had bonded with his sister, Karli and his brother, Jeremy. Trent was liked by everyone who met him because of his charismatic personality and sense of humor and he always enjoyed being around people. He loved Alabama Football and loved watching NASCAR racing with his dad. He was proud to be starting a new life and will be dearly missed by his best friend, Erika Romero. Trent encountered plenty of struggles during his short life here on earth, but he had overcome them. He had rededicated his life to the Lord on April 12, 2015 and had found a new path in life that gave him profound happiness.
