Jewel retired in 1994 with Alabama Power Company in Pelham after 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. Brasher. Jewel is survived by her children, Mike Brasher and Joy Gardner; granddaughter, Faith Gardner; and four brothers, Charles, Wilburn, David and Bobby Joe Seales.
Visitation will be at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, on Friday, December 21, from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 22, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and burial will follow at Pelham City Cemetery.
