After his time in the Navy, Jon worked for IBM, Litton, and then began his own computer engineering firm, Pesek Corporation, which was operational for 41 years. He was a proud member of the community, building the Kingwood Christian School Touchdown Club, along with Bob Blake. He started the Kingwood football program as a result.
He was instrumental in the founding of Good News Church with Dan Norris and Sherril Hilyer. In his final years, Jon immersed himself deeply in studying the Bible, pouring his insights and learnings into a book that reflected his profound spiritual journey. His passion for scripture extended to his cherished grandson, Will Davis, whom he loved dearly and mentored with great joy, sharing biblical interpretations that shaped young Will’s understanding of faith.
In lieu of flowers, Jon would like you to donate to a favorite charity, a Christian charity, or just take a family vacation and read the Bible together. He is missed by many and would tell you to read Matthew Chapter 5 and Romans Chapter 8.
