Jon Paul Randall

Jon was born November 19, 1940 in Ravenna, Ohio. After graduating Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, Jon joined the Army in 1961 and served at the Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington. After returning home in June 1965, he started working at Chrysler and shortly after met his future wife, Patricia Roseman, whom he married in 1966.

He then started working for Oneil Company/Macy. Jon started out as a buyer, worked his way up to being manager to finally being an IT Security Analyst. In 2003 he retired from Akron, Ohio to Loudon, Tennessee where he and Pat lived for the next 18 years. Then in 2021 moved to Birmingham, Alabama to be near family.

Jon was a lover of life. He enjoyed golfing, boating, hiking, camping, traveling, being with friends and family but most of all his church family.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Emma Fisher Randall.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; sisters, Nancy Randall, Judy (Gary) Harrington, Kathy (John) Cochran; children, David (Sue) Randall and Justine (Dave) Gangle. He was Papa to his grandsons, Lake and Cole Gangle and his granddaughter, Katherine Randall.

Jon and Pat are members of Vestavia Hills Lutheran Church. Pat and the family would be honored to have your presence on August 4, 2023 at 11:00 am with a fellowship luncheon immediately following the military honors all at Vestavia Hills Lutheran Church.
