Kathy, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious son.  My favorite memory of him comes from way back in the days when you and I worked at the AOC and Shane was just a little kid. It was baseball season and I remember you coming in one morning telling us about the game he’d played the day before. It was the top of the 9th, 2 outs, and his team was behind. Shane came up to bat and you were sweating bullets because you were so nervous about him striking out.  Not to worry...Shane hit the winning home run! That memory has stuck with me all these years. It has reminded me to never give up even when things look impossible.  Jesus never lets go of us.  He is the strength in our weakness.  May you feel His strong arms around you and your family, especially your precious grandchildren.

My Dear Friend Kathy,

Psalm 55:22 says "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you."

I am here when you need to cry, yell, laugh, or just want to hold the phone.  I may not understand what you are going through, but I can listen.

Shane was a loving, caring, and good spirited young man.  You taught him to love God, family, others, and himself , and that he did.

I am so sorry for the  loss of a daddy, son & grandson.  Each and every one of you hold the most special place in my heart.  You have become part of my family.  I am praying for all of you.  You know if you need anything I am here at anytime. Love each and ever one of you!

Shane son,  I am so missing you. There is a lot of good supporters on your side. Mom will see you again in heaven because I know you are up in heaven with Nicole and Grandmother Paw Paw having a ball.  Mother is going to be okay. I know I am being selfish but I have so many different emotions from being angry to know you are in a better place.  You and I had so many good times laughing, shopping and going to the beach.  I literally gave my life up for you birthing you but I will meet and see you again.  I Love You Mom
