She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated from Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Shelby Baptist, Brookwood, and the Kirklin Clinic at UAB. She fought a 10-year-long battle against a brain tumor with great courage, strength, kindness, and love.
She is survived by her daughter, MeMe; her mother, Carol; and her brother, Lee. She has joined her father, Bill, and her grandparents in paradise.
Her family will receive loved ones at Southern Heritage on Thursday, December 27 at 10:15 AM, and her service will follow there at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Brookwood Cancer Care Center.
