She was preceded in death by her spouse, Fred Daniel Owen; father, Edward Neff; and mother, Emilie Neff.
Lena is survived by her brother, Herbert Neff (Edith); daughter, Laura Owen Walker; son, Ronald Edward Owen (Laura); grandchildren, Matthew Whitaker (Stephanie), Alan Walker (Lindsay), Tram Walker (Leanne), Katie Owen, Marlee Owen, and two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Knox Whitaker.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 10:30am-12:00pm at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church in the chapel narthex. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00pm in the chapel with Rev. James L. Williams (Butch) officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
