

PEYTON, LOUISE BRADFORD, of Birmingham, Alabama, and formerly of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on February 9, 2012 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Peyton, and son, Percy Bradford “Buster” Peyton. Survivors include two daughters, Pattie Peyton Michael and Linda Peyton Caluette; son-in-law, Patrick Michael; five beloved grandchildren, John Michael, Brandon Michael, Mary Robin Michael Brouillette, Keyea Caluette Solorzano, and Malanea Caluette; and seven great-grandchildren. Louise was a former resident of Texas and was born to Theo and Mayo Bradford on November 14, 1928. She attended Louisiana Technical College, where she met her husband of 49 years. Louise lived in Port Neches, Texas for 20 years before moving to Beaumont. In 1976, she moved to Crystal Beach, Texas where she was an active part of the community. She served as an EMT for the local fire department and a school bus driver for Galveston Independent School District before she retired and went to Alabama to live with her daughter, Pattie. Louise always had a funny story to tell and brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. A Celebration of Louise’s life will be at 2 p.m. on February 25, 2012 at Church of the Highlands, 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, Alabama 35210. The graveside service will be March 17, 2012 at Forrest Park East, 3700 St. Vincent Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana 71103.
