

Marilyn F. Haver, age 91, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born to J.R. and Marjorie Bean on October 9, 1932, in Coshocton, Ohio. Marilyn was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in nursing. On September 4, 1955, she married the love of her life Francis E. (Frank) Haver.
During her nursing career, she worked for several medical organizations, the last being Brookwood Hospital's GI Lab. Marilyn was a member of the Eastern Star, Temple Emanu-EL Sisterhood, and volunteered at Aldridge Gardens and Hoover Public Library. Her passions were playing bridge, traveling with family, and new experiences.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Bean; sister, Natalie McFarland, and her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank Haver.
She leaves behind her children, Linda Lehman (William), and Don Haver (Candace); grandchildren, Kelly Shaddix, Morgan McMullen, Allison Haver, Kaden Haver, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service will be held on September 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Temple Emanu-EL, 2100 Highland Ave, Birmingham, AL 35222.
