

He was born in Birmingham on March 4, 1968. Mark was a 1986 graduate of McAdory High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama.
Mark was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Brock Bishop, his father, Boyce Bria, his stepparents, Dale and Jo Bishop, and brother, John Bria.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Stephanie Blount Bria and their pride and joys: Will (Maddie), Morgan, and Dylan. Among the rest of the survivors are numerous family members whom he loved and valued very much, as well as friends who meant the world to him.
Mark was employed at US Pipe and Foundry as a Senior Human Resource Manager where he enjoyed helping people get the resources they needed. During his career, he also spent many years in human resources at Oak Grove Mines.
He was a member of Grace Life Baptist Church where he was a part of the Redeemed by Grace Sunday School Class. Mark was known for his love of all University of Alabama athletics. He enjoyed taking his family to Alabama sporting events and watching football on Saturdays. He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved passing down his knowledge of the woods and water to his children. Mark loved being around his family and supporting them in all that they did.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 24 at Shadow Lake on the Grace Life Baptist Church campus in McCalla. A lakeside visitation will be from 3-5 pm followed by an outdoor service starting at 5:00.
