Marvin Shapiro, age 87 and a man of substance and style, passed away on April 6, 2018 the way he always wanted- in his sleep after a brief but ugly battle with cancer.
Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Shapiro; and parents, Philip and Sylvia Shapiro.
He is survived by his son, Robert Shapiro; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Shapiro.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 10 from 6pm-8pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 11 at Elmwood Cemetery.
