For many years, Mrs. Lovell worked as Office Manager for The Overhead Door Company and later for a private dental practice. Her favorite pastimes included sewing, gardening, and taking care of her family.
Mrs. Lovell was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Birmingham. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a passion. She told the children she was "Peter Pan" and therefore would never grow up. They believed her!
Mrs. Lovell came out of retirement to help with child care duties with her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Grey, Anna Kate, and Leeann. The children gave her great pleasure and she was always interested in watching them grow and their many activities.
Mrs. Lovell was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Edward Mason Lovell, Sr.; her parents, Jack T. Goldschmid and Anna Kathryn Borg Goldschmid; and one brother, John T. Goldschmid.
Survivors include Mrs. Lovell's daughter, Linda L. Brady (David); son, Edward M. Lovell, Jr. (Jeannette); grandchildren, Michael M. Brady, Megan Carpenter (Bradley), Sarah L. Pantazis (Dennis George), and Kit M. Lovell; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Mason Brady, Grey Oliver Brady, Susan Leeann Carpenter, Anna Kathryn Carpenter, and Dennis George Pantazis, III.
