Maylee Kate Childress

CHILDRESS, MAYLEE KATE, infant daughter of Jason and Magan Childress of Pelham, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Donna Childress Askew of Cherokee, Alabama. Survivors include Maylee Kate's parents; two brothers, Avery and Greyson Childress of Pelham; grandparents, Harold Gene and Marcleen Childress of Town Creek, Alabama, and Michael and Debra Crain of Town Creek; aunts and uncles, Vaughn and Deanna Goodwin of Trinity, Alabama, Janel Crain Davis of Raleigh, North Carolina, JR and Paula Crain of Carrboro, North Carolina, Jason and Cayla Boatwright of Town Creek, Morgan Crain of Cullman, Alabama, and Daryl Boatwright of Town Creek; and cousins, Brooklyn Tidwell of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Forrest Davis of Smiths Station, Alabama, Lucy Davis of Smiths Station, Jenna Askew of Cherokee, Connor Davis of Smiths Station, Andrew Davis of Smiths Station, Lauren Crain of Carrboro, North Carolina, Breelyn Tidwell of Muscle Shoals, and Mason and Jacob Crain of Cullman. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama with the 7 p.m. Celebration of Maylee Kate's Life immediately following in Southern Heritage Chapel. On Wednesday, February 1, 2012, the family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home in Town Creek, Alabama, immediately followed by the 2 p.m. Celebration Service in the funeral home's chapel. Burial will be later on Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek.
