Michael Glen Jordan, age 44 of Remlap, Alabama, was born on April 2nd, 1969 and died peacefully on March 22nd, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Debra Jordan, two sons, Joseph M. Jordan, from Detroit, Michigan, and Jeremy C. Champion of Hayden, Alabama, his parents Alma V. Jordan, and William F. Jordan, of Birmingham, Alabama, and one brother, Stephen L. Jordan of Indian Springs, Alabama, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Michael was a distinguished Veteran who served his country honorably in the Persian Gulf War serving in the US Army. Throughout the course of his life, Michael owned and operated several businesses, including Jordan Sign's in Oneonta, Alabama. Michael held a passion for life, hunting, fishing, cross country motorcycling, and helping others. Michael was loved and will be missed by many friends and relatives. Funeral services for Michael will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home (Hwy 119) in Pelham, Alabama. Visitation will be Monday evening, March 24, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham.
