I am so sorry to read of Mikes passing. He and I went to school in Homewood together from Edgewood up to graduating together from Homewood High School. He was always so sweet and fun. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family.

Karen and I were indeed blessed. To have spent time with Mike and his family, just before his passing, was so very special.
As siblings, Mike, Karen, and I were always pretty close, at least through Mom and Dad. As kids, we were all individually encouraged to pursue our dreams. And we did! The past few weeks have provided us some insights to past moments, and incredible moments we will always have to cherish - telling stories, reminiscing about parents, grandparents, and others who have preceded us, with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, old and new. We talked about places we’ve been, things we’ve done and special moments. Church, scouting, camping, hobbies, school, work, music, and all other forms of family stuff.

We recognize how fortunate we all are to be a part of this family, its background, its roots, its representative character and strength that make it so special.

I was blessed to work with Mike for 8 years. He was such a smart, creative, and kind person. Even on rough days, he was always upbeat and positive.

We will miss him, but we can take comfort in knowing he is with the Lord.

I worked with Mike for two years at Regions. He was always eager to lend a helping hand. I never heard him complain or act like anything was bothering him. He seemed to enjoy life no matter what the circumstance. Those are the kind of friends and co workers that you want to have around.
It was very evident that he dearly loved his family.
I will surely miss him!
My thoughts and prayers to the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike when he joined our team many years ago and he was an instant friend. Not long after, we learned that we shared a mutual love of photography. He soon had me going to events with him and shooting more and made me learn more with each outing.

One thing about Mike - He always greeted everyone with a genuine smile. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is pain free now and watching over his beloved family from above.

Please continue to lift Mike’s family in prayer.

Mike has been a part of our family and conversations before I had ever met him in person. Never a truer friend than Mike!

We will cherish and remember him with fondness , and have much to still do to fulfill his “bucket list”.

All of our love goes to Julie and family during this time of transition and reflection.

I first met Mike as a co-worker around 1990. By 2000 we were cemented on the same team and a friendship bond grew from there. Mike referred me to my next job where we continued as teammates. One thing that always stood out was how much he loved his ready made family with Julie. Family affairs we're always a top priority for Mike. I will miss his integrity and loyalty, till we meet again.
