She was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Grace Bible Church in Westover. She was a devoted wife for 73 years to her husband J.E. Cox prior to his death on September 2, 2014.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Roger D. Cox; parents, James Walter Lynn and Pearlie Isbell Lynn; brother, James W. Lynn (Red); sisters, Mildred Bragg and Zenobia Kaloc; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by her son, Douglas R. Cox; daughter, Gail Taylor (Mitchell); daughter-in-law, Teresa Cox, and a host of grandchildren, great, and great-great-grandchildren, and many more family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:30-1:30pm on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. A celebration of Nora’s life will begin at 1:30pm, Brother Allen Murphy officiating.
