OWENS, OLA N. Age 94, lifelong resident of Pelham, Alabama died Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Helena (Alabama) United Methodist Church, where she was active for many years in the Virginia Tucker Sunday School Class. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Annie Belle and James Davis and Betty Jean and Luther Johnson, all of Pelham; grandchildren, Sammy (Patti), Steve, Dana and Scott Davis, Susan Stamps, Mark (Kathy) and Paul (Cindy) Johnson; brother, Roy (Martha) Acton; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, with funeral service beginning at 2 PM in the Southern Heritage Chapel. Rev. Michael Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
