Dee was employed as manager at North Shelby County (Alabama) Fire Department before launching her long-time career of providing daily care of infants. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles in Hoover, AL.
Dee was predeceased by her husband, Charles Still, and her parents, Robert and Dorothy Geren. Survivors include Dee's son, Chris Still; sister, Patricia Garner; brother, Jim Geren (Marlena); nieces; and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by A Celebration of Dee's Life at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Entombment will be at Southern Heritage Mausoleum, Pelham. Father Blake Hutson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles in Hoover, AL, or to the American Cancer Society.
