

She was born December 31, 1927, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a daughter of William A. and Rose C. Hettinger Bonnot. She was married to Harold M. Roberson of Vienna, Missouri who preceded her in death, and they resided in Waynesville, Missouri for many years where they raised two daughters, Cynthia Ann Lowe of Birmingham who also preceded her in death and Nancy Kay Roberson, New York, New York.
She worked for the Department of the U.S. Army as a federal employee in the comptroller’s office at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri for 42 years until her retirement. She then moved to Birmingham to be close to her daughter, Cynthia where she also worked for her daughter's business, Cynthia Lowe Interior Design.
In addition to her daughter, Nancy, she is survived by three granddaughters, Christie Browne, Franklin, Tennessee; Leslie Cox, Jacksonville, Florida and Amie Taylor, Hendersonville, Tennessee; ten great grandchildren, Hailey, Ethan, Phoebe and Jake Browne; Emma, Mason, and Ben Cox; Andrew, Adam and Alex Taylor; and two great, great grandchildren, Hayden and Riley Browne.
We all hope and pray we can live up to the shining example she set for the kindness and thoughtfulness she exhibited throughout her life to anyone she ever met. And, she will be in our hearts forever so.
The celebration of Rosetta’s life will be at 10am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
